Arthur Cole - The Gardens and Grounds of the Newt in Somerset: Past, Present and Future
We are delighted to welcome Arthur Cole, Head of Programmes for the Visitor Attraction at the Newt. Arthur will talk about The Newt in Somerset’s gardens
offering an insight into the design and features. The presentation will explore the history of the estate and gardens and their setting, as well as the scope and scale of the horticultural
endeavour.
Light refreshments will be available from 7.00pm with Arthur starting at 7.30pm.

Mike Parroy QC - Corpse or no corpse? A practical guide
Mike Parroy is our very own resident retired QC who has appeared in over 50 murder cases during his career at the Bar.
He is going to talk about murder, bodies, forensic science and how to do it if you get really desperate!

Mike Vockins - A Ramble Through Cricket and a Canter Through the Church
Mike Vockins was a long-serving and much-respected Secretary/Chief Executive of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, working alongside cricketing “greats”
like Basil D’Oliveira, Norman Gifford, Glenn Turner, Graeme Hick, Graham Dilley, Glenn McGrath and Ian Botham.
He managed many international tours. Mike also served on numerous Test and County Cricket Board/England and Wales Cricket Board committees. He was awarded
an OBE for services to cricket in 1996.
Mike was also an Hon. Curate of three rural Herefordshire parishes, Rural Dean of Ledbury, and Prebendary of Hereford Cathedral, following his ordination
as a self-sup- porting minister in 1988.
