Play Area Development Group

Charlton Musgrove Parish Council is very pleased to announce that at long last

we have been able to install some equipment in the Play Area. This came about as

a result of feedback from the Parish Plan, which hi-lighted the need for the

ever growing number of children in our village to have somewhere to meet and

There are some swings for the little ones, and 2 goal screens which can be used

for football, netball, cricket and target practice.

If this equipment is well used, we would hope -  with further fund raising

efforts - to install more equipment over the coming years.

Maintaining the play area requires a team of village volunteers to step forward

for grass cutting and strimming duties. We currently have a rota running, but if

more people are willing to help it would reduce the burden. If you are

interested in helping, it only takes around 40 minutes and you would only be

required once every two months or so. Please contact Kate McCarry if you can

help -

Finally, and most importantly, we would like to say a huge thank you to the

following organisations who dontated funds to the Play Area, and without whom,

we would not have been able to purchase equipment.
