Charlton Musgrove

Charlton Musgrove is a village and civil parish in Somerset, England, situated 1 mile (1.6 km) north east of Wincanton in the South Somerset district. The village has a population of around 400. The parish includes the hamlets of Barrow, Holbrook, Southmarsh, and part of Shalford.

Situated in an exceptionally beautiful and unspoilt part of Somerset, the parish is one of the largest in the country (1485 hectares) extending from the edge of the Stourhead estate in the west across to the famous Wincanton Racecourse in the east.

There is a strong sense of community within the village and there are many events and things to do.  It is a lovely place to live.

We are a friendly mix with farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals, retired people and a large number of young people.
